LAURE, HONDURAS
The community of Laure, Honduras, is New Life’s global partner. Together with the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC) and the Diaconia Nacional, the social justice arm of the CRWRC in Honduras, New Life entered into a partnership with Iglesia Nueva Vida Laure in 2009, focusing on relationships of mutual blessing and community development. It is our prayer that in Laure, health and hygiene are improved, especially for the children. Specifically they are eager to improve their water supply,
their housing (with cement floors and latrines) and with community training
to prevent drug abuse among young people.

ESPERANZA MINISTRY
Esperanza Ministries, New Life’s regional partner, is located on a remote inlet on the northwest coast of Vancouver Island near Tahsis. Founded in 1937, Esperanza exists to promote healing and restoration in a place of
refuge. New Life has been partnering with Esperanza since 2004. Our purpose
has been to provide encouragement and practical support for the staff by
helping maintain and upgrade the site which includes approximately 20
buildings. which enables them to concentrate on their ministries.

Joshua house
We strongly believe that Joshua House, through the hands of Richard and Angie Korkowski, is doing a fantastic job to grow God’s Kingdom right here in Abbotsford. We therefore have formed a New Life support team for them and are now ready to ask for your help. Joshua House currently is made up of four houses, all in Abbotsford. The first, called the Junior House, accommodates men fresh in recovery. Here Richard helps them to become still before God and find Him through Bible study and counselling while confronting their addictions. The next two houses, called the Middle Houses, accommodate men who have recovered sufficiently to start part-time employment. The fourth or Senior House is filled with men who have started full-time employment, but who still need the support offered by Joshua House before they can go back to their communities.
